|
I want to use my Bluetooth enabled cell phone (Siemens S56, Cingular GSM) as
a modem for my Tablet (Bluetooth USB adapter) and for my iPAQ (2210,
Bluetooth enabled). My phone's documentation is non-existent to awful.
Where can I find out how to do this. I have successfully connected my phone
to my Tablet to sync contacts and calendar, but have no idea how to get it
set up as a modem for dialing my/an ISP.
Thanks,
Jim

Don't see one for the 2210 or a regular laptop. Any other sources?

Try this ATT site, http://support.attwireless.com/awswls/support/index.jsp.
Look under the header called Device Setup Tools ->Setup you Device and
Computer/PDA. Follow the prompts and you will eventually get a detailed list
of the steps needed to make a connection. Be sure to answer Yes to the "Do
you have an ATT GPRS device?" question as this will lead you to a page where
you can select the S56 as your phone device.
Cheers
TC
