Does USB version 1.1 have enough DTE speed for a HSDPA phone

3.6 mbps ÷ 9 bit per byte = 400,000 byte/s = 390.625 kb/s looks
well < USB v1.1 's maximum speed, yet 1 cell phone co
employee said that USB v1.1 will not be as fast as v2 for a 3.6
mbps DCE speed. Does any1 here know better ?
