A Sprint tech support operator has informed me that the
trick to getting the GPS to work overseas is to provision
the phone AFTER the Blackberry service is upgraded to international.

Since provisioning only seems to work on Sprint's CDMA network,
the time sequence of events is critical. Woe unto you if
your Blackberry forgets its Provisioning overseas. (Mine
has forgotten its provisioning twice in the last couple weeks.

Has anyone been able to use the 8830 World Edition's GPS in
other parts of the world? ("What part of WORLD EDITION do you
not understand?"Smile

Blackberry GPS overseas If anyone has been able to use the hardware GPS in a World Edition 8830 overseas, I'd like to hear about it. Either Verizon or Sprint --

Blackberry Issue Starting on 3/23/07 around 12:00am and every night since then at or around 12:00am my blackberry 8703e has been giving me this message: You are attempting to establish a connection with a server whose security settings are weaker than your preference sett

Blackberry 8703e Browser question I have three browser icons that show on the screen of the BB. One is for the Internet email which I get. The other two are the regular browsers which are exactly the same. Is this normal, or did I put two on there somehow? TIA, John
