I have a special ringtone in mp3 format that I would like to put in my
Katana II. I bought a USB cable and installed Bitpim, but downloading
ringtone to the Katana II is not supported.

Is there another way I still can get the RT to my phone?

http://www.myxertones.com/

or

http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php

are just 2 of many sites that you can use to upload ringers from your
PC and send them to your device via sms download link.
myxertones will allow you to upload entire songs and clip out the
portion you want to use for a ringer as well. Neither of the sites
charges anything
in themselves, but you would pay for casual data usage at a rate of .
03 per kilobyte if you dont have a data plan on your account.
A typical 30 second ringer can vary in size, but about 100 kb I would
think would be average depending on the bit rate youre mp3 is, so
would cost about
$3 in data to download.

Thanks for the links, but my song file is in mid and not mp3 as I
stated before. Could you suggest a way to convert it to a supported
format.

The infomation I have shows that the device should be compatible with
MIDI files as well as QCELP which is a Qualcomm standard, I would try
using that uploader tool on it and see what happens, the worst that
can hapen is that it simply does not work, but I wouldnt see any
reason for that as a .mid file is a midi.

Yes, sorry I didn't look at the second site you provided before I
asked. I was able to put the mid on my phone now. Thanks again.
