Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use my computer as a bluetooth
headset? I'd love to be able to answer/make calls direct from my pc
using the mic and speakers, and then via bluetooth the data is sent to
the mobile for transmitting. The same thing that those bluetooth ear
pieces do except it would be my PC.

TIA,
Hugh

You don't say which brand cell phone you are using. If its a Moto you
can get a Bluetooth USB adapter
and obtain a copy of Motorola Phone Tools. I'm not 100% on this as I
use MPT for backing up contact and calendar data as well as ringtone /
wallpaper transfer between pc / Moto Razr V3.

If not a Moto, maybe your phone manufacturer makes similar to MPT.

MPT allows you to place a call via your cell phone, but the audio is still
on the cellphone, not the PC.

use a BT stack on PC, run HS service, pair the phone to ur PC. Now
select service as HS.
I think this will work.

What is HS Service?

I'm looking into getting floAt's Mobile Agent to work. I believe it
offers this capability.
