Is there anyone who has an view of the GSM manufacturer's development
planning on Bluetooth? Are the manufacturers like Nokia, Siemens, Sony
Ericsson planning releases of more GSM Bluetooth models or is it already
nearing the end?

nearing the end?

No way!

The French legislature has just implemented a LB to require all new phones
after a certain date to be equipped with Bluetooth. Seems they are worried
about brain damage from cell-waves.

Son of Garth the Old marches onward and upward!

That is good news, but Nokia newest models do only support Bluetooth for
data, not for voice. So the choice of Bluetooth phones is and will remain
limited, or are other manufacturers catching up?

???

I know the 6310i is an older model, but that supports voice, and as far as
I'm aware so do all the other BT enabled devices. I can't imagine nokia
going backwards, especially when they _sell_ BT headsets.

I have this info from a dealer, who did not tell me any model numbers. We
were talking about models after the 3610i, a popular BT phone here. I was
told that Nokia is screwing up their own business: their BT headset were
said to be of poor quality and no BT voice support on new models (after
6310i). But maybe this dealer was too personal.

The 3650 supports voice, and it's not old. The 6600 supports voice and is
brand spanking new. I don't know what waldman is talking about...
