Hi Donny,
There are two ways to implement an embedded B.T solution.
1. via the HCI interface to an of the shelf device. you can use either
an rs232 type interface or usb.
2. A fully embedded solution where all the stack software is running on
the same device.

Without knowing what the "board" is its difficult to know which way you
should approach the problem.
I am assuming that you are a hobbyist without massive funding. If this
is the case then you have little option but to go option 1.

Once you have a suitable device you may be able to make use of the linux
bluetooth software. This will have an API interface to the l2cap, SDP
and other protocols. The bottom of the l2cap layer should have a HCI
interface which you should be able to adapt to the HCI of your device.

Hope this gives you a few pointers.

Ken
