I have an IBM T30 with XP and built in Bluetooth that works well. In
Network Connections, Bluetooth has COM7 as it's port and I
successfullt sync with a T39. I looked in Device Manager and saw that
COM ports 4-14 were also listed as Bluetooth COM ports even though
they're unused. Why is this? I'm also using a cell phone as a modem
(USB...works great) on Verizon EN and it's being assigned COM17. I
would like it to use COM4 so that I can access the phone with Bitpim
to add files. Can I just delete the driver from COM4? Is this done
through "uninstall" on device manager? Is this possible without
messing everything up?
If this is the wrong group to ask I apologize.
