Download 'mobile phone monitor' from the official sony ericsson site, you will also have to open a port for transfering some stuff to the phone, like newly created MMS templates.

Hi,

Thanks for that, but....

1. I can't find the mobile phone monitor on the official Sony Ericsson
site?

2. How do I open a port?

1) Try this link:

2) If you're using Bluetooth to make the connection between the phone and
the PC then you will need to make a connection to a COM port through the
Bluetooth Manager SW that came with your Bluetooth adapter for the PC. If
the device uses the very common Widcomm software you'll need to open up My
Bluetooth Places. From there you'll need to View Devices Within Range, which
is essentially the Discovery process. What this means is that you'll have to
put the phone into Discover mode and when the PC detects the phone you'll
need to Pair the devices. Once they are Paired you can discover the services
that the phone can provide, one of which should be a Serial Port. Double
click on the Serial Port and it should connect, if you have discovered and
paired correctly.
