I have a new TDK USB Bluetooth dongle that I want to use with my Sony
Ericsson T610. This would be for file transfres, Outlook syncronisation
etc. - nothing too clever. Just the right application for "Plug n
Play".... sigh

My PC is set up with an ethernet card connected to a cable modem (ISP is
NTL in UK). IP numbers, DNS etc are assigned by my ISP automatically
using DHCP

After I install the TDK bluetooth software I can no longer access the
internet. The installation proceedure seems to mess up my settings big
time. I have tried various searches with no sucess but I suspect the is
a simple(ish) solution if you understand networking which I don't - so
all help gratefully received.

Before I install I have one network connection:

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

After installation (and before re-booting) I have three network
connections including a rather bizaare Microsoft TV/Video Connection
(?????) and my I can no longer broze any web sites

After re-booting the Microsoft TV/Video Connection connetion vanishes
but the settings on my cable modem connection have changed. Fiddling

Interesting - I've just received a new XP machine at the office and couldn't
access the internet either (not sure if this started before or after I
installed the TDK software. I also have the same Microsoft TV/Video
Connection, but assumed that was nothing to do with the TDK. Anyone else
have similar experiences?

One thing you might try - go into your network settings and make sure that
your normal internet connection is above everything else in the network
access order.
