I am thinking of switching services, however
I asked the new cell phone company for a loaner
to check out my coverage. They gave me a phone,
and it works great in all the areas I travel.

My question is this,
Can this loaner telephone be given high priority over
the usual service ? I know that the technology that
runs this stuff is ourtragously sophisticated and they
can actually "aim" signals directly at your location.

I have also heard that the cell tower tells your phone
how much power to use, when to switch towers,
etc., etc. If they know what phone
I have, can they bias the system to boost preformance ?
